The
Construction Specification Institute |

CSI
was established as a national society in Baltimore, Maryland
in 1948, representing not only the interests
of specifier’s,
but of the entire construction industry. The Institute maintains
offices in Alexandria, Virginia and includes more than 15,000
members across the USA and internationally, engaged in all areas
and all
types of construction. The Institute supports efforts in college
level and continuing education, development and expansion of
technical information and establishment of formats for drawings
as well as
specifications. There is current emphasis on a global construction
network.

The
Puget Sound CSI Memorial Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit
corporation. The Foundation is organized and operated to provide
scholarships, fellowships, and grants, and to promote educational
programs serving the interest of the construction Industry
and related endeavors which support the objectives of the Construction
Specification Institute.
