About the Puget Sound CSI Memorial Foundation

Who will benefit from the Foundation?
The construction industry and the community we serve, as well as the outstanding individuals enrolled in the disciplines of architecture, engineering, building construction, or material sciences.

Will the foundation’s funds be limited to students attending local institution?
No. As contributions allow, we will expand the program to include students attending all colleges and universities.

Purpose
The Foundation’s purpose is to further opportunities for individuals and or programs in construction sciences-oriented education: specification writing, architectural design, construction management, engineering material sciences, technology, etc.

The intent is to build an endowment that will fund specific request – tuition, financial needs of special projects, research, and the like. CSI has long promoted the concept of continuing technical education among its members and to the construction industry in general, though certification programs, the formation of student chapters, and the presentation of seminars, regional and via teleconference. The Foundation will further this tradition by awarding scholarships, fellowships, and grants to deserving
